Women's Conferences

As I'm drinking my coffee and writing this update for our prayer partners this drizzly Sunday morning, my heart is full from a day spent with the GB Women of the Evansville area. We sang, we studied the Word together, even did a little watercolor painting, enjoyed a lunch prepared by the ladies in the church, and then 67 hours of safe, living wage work for our artisans in Honduras were provided by the shopping of the conference attendees!  Last weekend, the GB Women of Northern Indiana, Kentucky, and Cup Creek Church combined to provide 190 hours of wages. That's 257 hours of life changing, legacy impacting work in Honduras for our artisans! Ladies, that's nearly the entire week in between the conferences covered for all 7 artisans!  Can we just stop and praise the Lord for that together?! Do you see why my heart overflows this week?

During one of the conferences, I received a referral from an attendee to a large Christian Music conference in Nashville, TN and we were just accepted as an exhibitor. Let's see where God leads us here. I was also invited to bring a small trunk show and give a 5 minute explanation during a service at one of the churches. Both of these are excellent ways for us to spread the word about how to get involved in this incredible mission. Would you pray for more conference and church opportunities like these? And if you know of a place I could apply to exhibit, or your church would like me to come and speak and share Alegria, please send me an email.

Have a blessed Sunday!

Sarah
